Right and left is resolvable through being able to walk and chew gum at the same time, rather than the present theater of Walkers vs. Chew Gummers. The culture wars involving forms of religious traditionalism and rampant materiality are only truly resolvable in a culturally creative context. America is a culturally creative invention first, neither bible based, nor mega-profit bound at an unconscionable cost to the environment and human lives. I'm reminded of the German Green Party's slogan: "We're neither left nor right - we're in front."
